An exhibit of artwork created by Hood College graduate and undergraduate students will be displayed Feb. 6 through March 1 in the Hodson Gallery at Hood College.
An opening reception for 2014 Annual Juried Student Exhibit will be Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gallery, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A talk by Jerry Truong, juror for this exhibition, will be given Feb. 6 at 12:30 p.m., followed by the awards presentation.
The exhibit includes ceramics, drawings, paintings, prints and photographs.
Truong is an artist and professor who teaches at Montomery College in Takoma Park, Md. He earned his master of fine arts degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2011 and is currently a fellow at Hamiltonian Artists in Washington, D.C.
The Hodson Gallery will host a solo exhibition of Truong’s interdisciplinary artwork from March 6 to 20.
