March 13: Community invited to annual egg hunt

Tuesday, March 13, 2012

FREDERICK, Md.—The Hood College Student Government Association will host its annual Easter egg hunt April 1 from 1 until 3 p.m. in the Coblentz Seminar Room and The Hodson Outdoor Theater.

The event is free and open to all children who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents should sign up for the Easter egg hunt in Coblentz Seminar Room, located in the lower level of Coblentz Hall. The hunt, which will take place in The Hodson Outdoor Theater, will begin at 1 p.m. for children ages 1 to 7, and at 2 p.m. for children ages 8 and older. Children should bring a basket to collect eggs; eggs will be redeemable for candy and small prizes.

In addition to the hunt, other activities—face painting, arts and crafts—will be offered. Families will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

Parking will be available in the Chapel parking lot.

For more information, contact Jennifer Bentz, S.G.A. secretary and event chair, at or 301-696-3575.
