March 19: SGA hosts annual Easter egg hunt for community children

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

FREDERICK, Md.—The Hood College Student Government Association will host its annual Easter egg hunt April 13 from 1 until 3 p.m. in the Coblentz Seminar Room and The Hodson Outdoor Theater.

The event is free and open to the public. Parents or guardians must accompany all children and register them at the start of the event in the Seminar Room, located in the lower level of Coblentz Hall. The hunt, which will take place in The Hodson Outdoor Theater, will begin at 1 p.m. for children ages 1 to 7, and at 2 p.m. for children ages 8 and older. Children should bring a basket to collect eggs; eggs will be redeemable for candy and small prizes. In addition to the hunt, other activities—face painting, arts and crafts and outdoor activities—will be offered. Families will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

Parking will be available in the Chapel parking lot.
