FREDERICK, Md.—The Hood College Dance Ensemble spring concert will be held April 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Hodson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall.
The dances will include a tap number to Meghan Trainor’s “Lips Are Moving,” choreographed and performed by co-captain Katelyn Sims; a contemporary piece to Chris Howe’s “Ouija,” composed by Eric Stone; a contemporary piece to Beyonce’s “A Beautiful Nightime” by Adaire Crabbe; a hip-hop number featuring a selected mix of music including UTFO and J.J. Fad by Dominique Byrd; a contemporary piece to One Republic’s “Apologize,” choreographed and performed by co-captain Taylor Tolbard; a jazz number to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” by Fran Marsili, the ensemble’s artistic director; and guest performers from Souls of the Feet Dance Company from Pennsylvania.
