Research and Teaching Interests
Paige Whaley Eager, Ph.D., received her doctorate in political science from the University of Delaware in 2003. She taught at the University of Delaware for two years after receiving her doctorate and joined the History and Political Science department at Hood College in September 2005. She teaches the following classes: International Relations, Comparative Politics, Politics of Developing Countries, Terrorism and Justice, American Foreign Policy, and Opportunities and Challenges of Globalization. She is the co-faculty adviser for the Model United Nations program. She is the author of the books: Global Population Policy: From Population Control to Reproductive Rights (2004) and From Freedom Fighters to Terrorists: Women and Political Violence (2008). Currently, Eager is conducting research on female soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
