Hello! I'm Cheryl Banks and I work with transfer students who live all over the country—except Frederick County, Md.! I was born in Liberia, in West Africa, and came to the U.S. when I was young. I graduated from Hood College with a major in political science and history and a minor in African American studies. I have had the wonderful experience, while working with all of the amazing students who apply to Hood, to share my Hood story!
I am an athlete, competitor and volunteer! I'm not a risk-taker but I'll try almost anything once!
I love music and can't sing a lick but I do it anyway! I enjoy dancing and have spontaneous dance parties whenever I feel the need to bust a move! I love my family, friends and food, my three F's to a happy life!
