Hello! I'm David Adams, I am the director of admission, but I also act as the admission counselor for students and their families from Montgomery, Howard, Carroll and Prince George's counties in Maryland..
I am originally from Virginia Beach, via all over. I moved seven times growing up and four times since graduating from college. I attended Old Dominion University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in political science. I rowed crew in college and although I do not live on or near the water anymore, I try to remain active by riding my nearly vintage Cannondale road bike and kayaking and fishing on a small lake near my house.
I hope you will take the time to learn more about Hood College, to appreciate how wonderful a place it is and to discover all the opportunities we offer our students. In the nearly 16 years I have been working in college admission, I have never experienced a more engaging learning community.
