Hello! My name is Sarah Lindberg and I work with first-year students from Frederick, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett counties in Maryland. I also work with students from Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., and the Midwest. I enjoy showing first-year students all of the wonderful things Hood College has to offer our students. One of my favorite things about Hood is the community of students, faculty and staff. Everyone is very friendly and approachable. When I am not on the road meeting perspective students you can find me in the office working with our STARs (student team of admission representatives). I like to think that our STARs keep me young and provide great information on what it is like to be a Hood College Blazer!
I hail from Virginia, but let it be known I am definitely not a Redskins fan! Cowboys all the way! I love everything about the south and even went to college there, where I majored in historic preservation with concentrations in museum studies and historical architecture. I swam competitively for 17 years, including while in college. While I don't swim anymore, you will find me glued to the TV anytime there is a competitive swim meet on ESPN or NBC. I love spending time in the summer with my family on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I found my love for college admissions while serving as a tour guide at my alma mater.
I look forward to working with you through the admission process. Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions. If you see me out on the road, be sure to swing by my table and say hello! I hope you take some time to learn all about how wonderful school and life is here at Hood College.
