I decided to be a mathematics major when I was a freshman in high school. I picked up my minors - computer science and economics — out of their connection to mathematics.

What is your favorite memory of Hood?  

I would have to say the best memory of Hood is the May Madness festivities.

Who were your mentors at Hood?  

Professor Dahms was a very helpful mentor at Hood, and was always willing to lend a hand.

What is your opinion on the value of a Hood education?  

I believe that the focus on smaller classes and group work is very valuable. The benefits of this experience has already become evident in my dailywork.

What is your opinion on the value of a liberal arts education?  

By studying a broad range of subjects, one is equipped with bringing different views to any project.

What would you say to students applying to Hood?  

I would tell them to get involved and be active within the Hood community.

What role has your Hood education played in your career?  

My success at Hood helped me find a full-time position before I started my senior year, and prepared me for my future career tasks.

Why did you choose to attend Hood College?  

I chose Hood for many reasons, such as recommendations from friends, the area and the beautiful campus.
