Biography

Originally from Jamestown, N.Y., Danielle Weaver was fortunate enough to have significant mentors in her life who introduced her to student affairs. Danielle served as class president, orientation leader, co-chair of the townhouse council, alumni council student delegate and admissions intern, and she co-instructed an Emerging Leaders Program. While completing her graduate work, she served as a graduate assistant for the Institutional Research Office, Orientation and New Student Programs Office and Student Involvement Center. Danielle earned a bachelor of arts in history from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., and a master of science in student personnel administration with a concentration in leadership from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, N.Y.

Danielle joined the residence life team in summer 2009 and supervises Meyran Hall and the off-campus apartments. In addition, she coordinates many of the residential education aspects of the department including leadership development, programming, RA selection, and staff training and development. Danielle administers the desk attendant program and assists with major operational aspects such as opening and closing.
