While in graduate School at Shippensburg University, where she earned a master's degree in counseling/college student personnel, Nonemaker served as a summer operations director at the university's Student Union and a program intern in the first-year student experience at Gettysburg College.

Nonemaker comes with a wealth of experience in student engagement, program planning, leadership development, student organizations support, multicultural initiatives and programming, campus center management and new student orientation. She has worked at Elizabethtown College, Shippensburg University, Gettysburg College and Mount St. Mary's University, as well as at Hood College, where eight years ago she served as the assistant director of international admission. She's thrilled to be back!

At Hood she is responsible for student engagement and orientation, campus programming, the Whitaker Campus Center and student organization support. Overall, her goal is to empower students to design and implement programming for the campus community and to assist students in developing leadership skills to their fullest potential. She is supportive of each student organization, creates a welcoming environment for all students and encourages students to participate in the myriad of programs Hood offers.
