Using the Hood College E-Bill System

Hood College has gone green! All billing information will now be sent electronically for easy access, and to help preserve our planet. The system will be live and available for use as of July 1, 2014. Please find the instructions on how to navigate through the system below.

  1. Log on to your Hood College Self Service Account at
    https://selfservice.hood.edu/SelfService/Home.aspx using your PCID and password.



    Once logged in, click on the "Finances" tab.



    Click on: "Make a Payment", "View My Account" or "View Bill".


     
  2. Use the main navigation menu at the top of your page to view and print your bill, save credit card or e-check information, view account activity, make a payment and add an authorized user to access, view and pay bills by adding a parent PIN.


     


  3. Balances are divided by semester in the payment section. Simply choose which semester you would like to make a payment for, or you have the option to pay the balance in full. Partial payments are also an option.
     


  4. Parents or Authorized Users have access only to make payment, payment history, and balance on the student account. They do not have access to financial aid, grades, or other online student information.

    In the authorized users screen, enter the email address of the person you want to add as an authorized user. Make sure that “Yes” is marked for the two questions in order to allow the person you are authorizing access to your e-bills and payment history; then click on the "OK" button. The authorized user will automatically be sent an email notifying them that they have been added, along with a randomly generated password that they can change once they have logged in for the first time.
