Welcome to The Office of Financial Aid
We recognize that families often need to look outside their immediate resources in order to help their students take the fullest advantage of the Hood College experience. It is the mission of the Office of Financial Aid to help students and their families develop a financial plan to make a Hood College education affordable, and to assist students throughout the financial aid process.
Summer Financial Aid: Students requesting financial aid for Summer I or II must complete the Hood Summer Aid application.
New Students: Complete your loan counseling and sign your master promissory note (MPN) at www.studentloans.gov. Please complete prior to July 1, 2017.
Parents interested in a PLUS loan are encouraged to apply now at www.studentloans.gov.
Now until June 30, 2017: Students and parents interested in the Hood College Payment Plan, please visit www.MyCollegePaymentPlan.com/hood.
Students must qualify for the Federal Work study program based on their eligibility as reflected on the FAFSA.
Hood College has partnered with Raise.Me, a non-profit backed by the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation, Facebook and Imagine K12 that awards microscholarships to high schoolers for community service, extracurricular activities and academic achievements.
