Assuring the quality of a drug, vaccine, therapeutic agent, test or device is critical to the safety of the general population. And the reputation of the companies that manufacture them demands compliance with the complex federal regulations that govern the delivery of these products to market. Hood’s Regulatory Compliance certificate program prepares science professionals to undertake this important responsibility.
From concept to marketing
Students learn the compliance business from subject-matter experts who are recognized leaders in their fields. They develop and hone high-tech and scientific writing skills and study clinical and laboratory practices in the regulatory context. From concept and design through manufacture and marketing, they acquire a solid foundation in relevant FDA laws.
Ready to hit the ground
Evening classes accommodate full-time professionals and enable them to make productive connections between classwork and workplace while completing the certificate. The eight-course program prepares students to take the exam required for Regulatory Affairs certification; the only globally recognized credential in the health care product sector. Funded by the American Medical Device Association, a competitive Regulatory Compliance scholarship is available to students pursuing a Regulatory Compliance certificate or a Regulatory Compliance concentration in the MBA and Biomedical Sciences programs.
