Hood offered me by far the best financial aid package of all the schools to which I applied. I also was attracted to the campus and small class sizes. Have you participated in an internship or leadership opportunity in the local area or on campus? No. What do you value most about your relationships with your professors? All of the professors I have had are more than willing to help with any difficulties students might experience. They have office hours weekly and will gladly make appointments outside of their office hours if needed. What is something that surprised you about Hood? I was surprised to find out how well respected Hood is, even though we are a small liberal arts college. What was your most rewarding class or academic experience at Hood? Why? My most rewarding classes have been the 200-level biology classes I have taken. They were both interesting and challenging, and solidified my choice of biology as a major.
