Why did you choose Hood College?
Besides Hood's convenient location and commuter friendly campus, I was drawn to the College's high standard of excellence in education.
Have you participated in an internship or leadership opportunity in the local area or on campus?
I have an upcoming internship at Springfield Hospital Center starting in fall 2013.
What is your most memorable experience at Hood?
My most memorable experience here at Hood is taking advantage of the library's extended hours during exam week with good friends and food.
What do you value most about your relationships with your professors?
What I value most about my professors is the time they take to address my questions and concerns.
What is something that surprised you about Hood?
The diversity in campus activities is something that surprised me about Hood. There is literally something for everyone here.
What was your most rewarding class or academic experience at Hood? Why?
My most rewarding academic experience here was the class Methods of Social Research. This class helped me realize how important research is to the social work profession. I really enjoyed researching current social phenomena here on campus.
When you aren't in class, what is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I love doing activities with my son, attending church events and playing basketball.
What is your favorite campus event?
My favorite campus events are the guest speakers. Hood always picks the most interesting and dynamic speakers to address contemporary issue here on campus and throughout the world.
