This course offers the opportunity to learn archaeological field methods through hands-
on experience at an archaeological site selected in collaboration between the student and
archaeology concentration coordinator. Students are expected to observe and learn both survey
and excavation techniques, as well as participating in recording, drawing and analyzing finds.
