Prerequisite: Three years of successful classroom teaching. (3 credits)
This course explores the challenges facing beginning teachers (both in-service and intern-
teachers), research on the continuum of teacher development, approaches to effective teacher
induction and on-going support. Participants will develop strategies and techniques for
mentoring beginning teachers.
