An introduction to environmental problems. Social, economic, political and biological aspects
are examined in an interdisciplinary approach to cause-and-effect analysis of environmental
problems. The impact of population growth, social priorities, natural resource use, economic
goals and technological development on life sustaining ecological systems are studied.
