Introduces statistical methods and concepts used in biological research. Topics include
sampling methods, frequency distributions, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing,
probability, linear regression, correlation, analysis of variance and various nonparametric tests. Students are required to do a project that involves analysis of data.
