Prerequisites: ENV 501 and 502, or permission of the instructor. (3 credits)
A study of the effects of environmental fluctuations on vegetational patterning, basic
mechanisms and interactions within the plant environment system and current problems in
plant ecology. Topics include the vital processes of plants, the effects of environmental factors
on their metabolism and energy transformations and their ability to adapt to these factors.
