Prerequisites: MGMT 205, MATH 112 and either ECON 200 or ECON 206. Open to sophomores, juniors or seniors, or permission of the instructor. (Either semester/3 credits)
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of the analytical methodology useful in the managerial decision-making process. The course begins with a basic review
of math, linear algebra and calculus as they are used in business. Following this, the course will cover decision theory, forecasting of future levels of business activity and using linear programming approach to make the most effective use of an organization’s resources.
