Prerequisite: Completion of 18 credits of coursework in the BMS program with a “B” average, or
permission of the instructor. (First semester/3 credits)
A comprehensive review of literature pertinent to the individual student’s thesis will be
presented orally and in written format. Thesis proposals will be discussed and critiqued, and
data will be evaluated and interpreted by all students. In addition, the guidelines to writing
the thesis and the preparation of the oral defense will be examined. This course is graded on a
satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis.
