Prerequisites (or concurrent enrollment in): EDUC 308 and EDUC 413. (Second semester/2 credits)
This course will survey theories and best practices in educational assessment and prepare secondary education candidates to analyze data from school demographics and create, apply and interpret results from preassessment, formative, summative and standardized assessment instruments to improve instruction and student achievement. (Open only to students in Phase I of the secondary teacher certification program. Must be taken concurrently with EDUC 413.)
