Student Loans

The loan application process begins in the Financial Aid Office. Please contact them at (301) 696-3411 or by e-mail at finaid@hood.edu.

Prior to graduation, you will need to schedule an exit interview with the Financial Aid Office for Perkins Loans. Exit interviews provide an opportunity for you to complete your loan paperwork and for us to communicate the collection procedures for your loans.

Hood College has contracted with an outside service provider to send billing statements and to process payments for the Federal Perkins Loan program. For information about your Perkins Loan payments, loan consolidation information and downloadable forms for deferment, please visit the Campus Partners Web site or contact a customer service representative at (800) 334-8609.
