SummaryUnder the general direction of the Associate Director of the Applications Group, the qualified applicant is a creative, motivated IT professional who can work both independently and as the member of a team, while providing professional customer service. The programmer analyst will install, maintain, and support commercial administrative software applications for multiple College functional areas, and develop local applications and modifications to support Hood-unique requirements. |

Education and/or ExperienceA bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three year’s experience developing computer programs or applications are required. Experience in higher education is a plus.

Language SkillsStrong command of the English language, both oral and written. Ability to effectively communicate complex information to persons outside the profession, and respond collegially to questions from external and internal customers both in person, in writing and on the telephone.
