Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree and two to four years of related experience in admissions preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. Familiarity with liberal arts colleges is preferred. |

Technology SkillsStrong computer proficiency in internet applications, Office Suite Productivity products (such as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel & Powerpoint); and ability to learn new applications quickly including organization-wide information systems and department-specific software applications. Familiarity with general principles and components of admission data systems and student information systems.

Language SkillsExcellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate the value of a liberal arts education. Ability to effectively provide information and positively respond to questions from both external and internal customers both in person and by phone. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, faculty, staff, and other constituencies.

Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with and apply basic mathematical concepts timely and accurately, either manually or by using a calculator. Ability to apply analysis of trends concepts.

Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to hypothesize, draw conclusions, and support conclusions. Ability to work in theoretical arena and apply logic as appropriate.
