Discover Hood Days

Register online for Discover Hood Day. Join us December 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. when current students, faculty and staff will be on hand to talk with you and your family about academics, life on campus, the financial aid processes and anything else you want to know about the college experience. Campus tours will be offered and you'll be invited to join us for a great brunch—on us—in our fabulous dining hall!

Weekday Visits

Register online for a weekday campus visit, available everyday Monday through Friday during either the morning or the afternoon. During your visit you will interview with an admission counselor and take a student-led campus tour. Please register one week in advance.

Campus Visit Experience

Register online to learn more about Hood through an expanded daily visit option available Monday through Thursday. During your visit you will meet with an admission counselor, take a student-led tour of our beautiful campus, sit in on a class of your choice (while your parents will have the option to visit our Financial Aid Office and Career Center) and eat lunch in our dining hall. Plan to arrive to campus in the morning and stay through lunchtime. Please register one week in advance of your visit.

Transfer Fridays

Register online to attend any of the Transfer Fridays events. Stop by the Marx Center on November 13 and December 11 between noon and 5 p.m. to speak with a transfer admission counselor, have your official or unofficial transcript evaluated, tour our beautiful campus, learn about the financial aid process and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

Saturday Morning Visits

Register online for a Saturday visit. An admission representative will be on hand to make a presentation and answer questions at 10 a.m. Student-led campus tours will follow the presentation.

Paying for College

Register online for the free financial aid seminars, which will include information on financial aid programs available from federal and state governments, strategies and tips for applying for financial aid, what to expect during the process, how to assess financial aid offers, scholarships and budgeting strategies. The seminars will be held Jan. 6 and 21, 2010, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Hodson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall.
