STEPS ACROSS AMERICA: Sally Johnson Leland '74 and her husband Doug are a part of a 12-person team that is walking across the United States as part of Steps Across America. The purpose of their walk is to raise awareness about the importance of an active lifestyle by walking for health, fitness and fun. The walking route brought Sally and Doug through the Frederick County, Md., region and a stop at Hood's campus. We loved seeing them and hearing about their adventure and passion for living a healthy lifestyle. Click here to learn more about Steps Across America and to read Sally and Doug's journal entries. Sally mentions her visit to Hood in her May 10th journal entry.
