FREDERICK, Md.—Hood College’s science, technology, mathematics and nursing programs will be on display for interested prospective students Dec. 5.
The STEM fair is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon, and the nursing open house is scheduled for 1-2:30 p.m. Both events will be in the Hodson Science and Technology Center.
The STEM fair will focus on the College’s science, technology and mathematics programs. STEM is an interdisciplinary and applied approach that is coupled with hands-on, problem-based learning. This event is open to the community, and registration is not required.
The nursing open house is for students who intend to enroll in a four-year nursing program directly after high school. Guests will hear from nursing professors and admission representatives, participate in case studies and experience simulations in our new, state-of-the-art nursing facility. Register at www.hood.edu/visit.
