Admission to Hood College is offered on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated commitment to personal development and potential for intellectual growth.
The links below connect to the online application for students who wish to transfer to Hood. It is suggested that applicants reserve 30 minutes to complete the application.
- Apply online (application fee is waived).
- Submit official college transcripts from each college or university previously attended. Hood College does accept electronic transcripts.
Note: Those who are transferring to Hood with fewer than 24 transferable credits, Hood also requests that an official copy of a high school transcript be sent to Hood. For those who have graduated within the past three years, Hood College also requires the submission of official SAT and/or ACT scores.
- Those who plan to apply for financial aid, please complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Hood recommends the use of the online application at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Hood College’s FAFSA code number is 002076. Please remember that it is necessary to request the personal pin number prior to completing the FAFSA at www.pin.ed.gov.
Applicants will be notified of the admission decision within three weeks following the completion of the application process.
