About this Program

A minor in American studies allows a student to focus on American culture from a variety of perspectives.

Program Overview

This minor helps students to understand the relationships between ideas, institutions and aesthetic forms. Using the tools of several disciplines, students can better understand the symbols, myths and values that pervade American culture.
