Hood College encourages sexual health and wellness by providing education, support, and resources for the campus community. Our goal is to empower students to make informed decisions regarding their sexual wellbeing and to encourage a responsible foundation upon which they can successfully build throughout their adult lives.

Sexual Health Supplies: Pick up free internal and external condoms and dental dams at the Hood College Health Center or from the Director of Wellness in Apple 4.

Testing: Sometimes it can be hard to tell if you need to get tested for an STI or HIV. If you or your partner have any symptoms, or if you're worried that you may have contracted one, you should be tested. Fortunately there are many resources available to be tested!

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a hidden epidemic. Concerns about stigma and privacy stop many people from getting the tests and treatment they need. Untreated STIs may lead to serious health problems. At IWTK, we hope to play a part in stopping this epidemic.

We offer freeaccurate, and confidential in-home specimen collection and lab-based testing for two common STIs, chlamydia and gonorrhea.
