Biography

As the director of galleries, I am passionate about connecting the Hood College community with prominent artists and art professionals through the exhibition of contemporary and historical works of art in all mediums.

Throughout the year, the Hodson and Whitaker galleries provides exhibition space for both nationally and internationally recognized artists, loaned work from private collections, as well as student and faculty work. Gallery exhibitions often include meet-the-artist receptions as well as student meetings and portfolio reviews.

In addition to the year-round exhibition schedule for visiting artists, I’m also a resource for both the undergraduate and Graduate students working toward their capstone exhibitions, working closely with students to bring their conceptual and technical ideas to fruition within the gallery space.
