On Giving Tuesday, choose how you support Hood College! Every giving option supports one of three areas of the Hood community. Explore the dropdown menus below to learn how each option makes a difference, then decide what you'd like to support:

  • STUDENTS: Invest in Hood students and their success.
  • FACULTY: Show your appreciation for the faculty who make a difference every day.
  • CAMPUS: Support Hood's historic campus and the spaces where our community learns and grows.

You choose where your gift goes. Every gift makes a difference, and there are many ways to support Hood!

STUDENTS
Did you know every Hood student receives approximately $3,000 from the College to cover the gap between their financial aid package and the cost of tuition? Contribute to the Hood Fund to continue this vital need for all Hood students.

STUDENTS
Directly impact Hood College student-athletes by selecting which team you want to support and are within each team—equipment, special travel, or events. Membership benefits come with Blazer Club contributions—click here for more information or to make your gift!

STUDENTS
Life happens and there is now a way to support students who are in need of help. The Sally Bauman Palic '81 Endowed Emergency Student Fund does just this to assist students with unanticipated, immediate financial need in the event of emergencies as assessed by the Office of the Dean of Students. Contribute to this endowed fund to enhance vital resources available for our Hood students each year.

STUDENTS
Ensure that all students have an opportunity to take their classroom learning into the real world. Through internships, research, and study abroad, donors can give Hood students real world opportunities.

STUDENTS
A century-old Hood tradition, the Hood Ring is for everyone. Contributions made to the Ring Scholarship allow eligible juniors to purchase their Hood Ring and carry on this beloved tradition.

FACULTY
Academic areas and departments on campus are critical to serving our students with a top-notch education. Make a gift in honor of your favorite faculty member and help with their resources in the classroom and for Hood students.

FACULTY
Hood’s faculty is exceptional and through research opportunities, conference presentations, and publications, they aid Hood students through transformative ways. The McCardell Professional Development Grants for Faculty fund is specifically designed to help them accomplish this.

CAMPUS
Music will be heard again! $3.5 million is still to be raised to reopen Brodbeck Music Hall, the oldest building on campus, accessing a historic space for the entire Frederick community and our students with new classrooms, offices, and practice rooms.

CAMPUS
With the new Biomedical Research and Education Center (BREC) complete, work continues on Hodson Science & Technology Center, our academic area for the traditional sciences, including classrooms, labs, faculty offices, and lecture rooms.
