Twenty years ago, as a consequence of the Civil Rights Movement, Hood College launched its African American studies program. Two decades have passed and the program continues to offer courses and programs that discuss race, gender and sexuality and to prepare its students for life after Hood.
Hood College celebrates the program's twentieth birthday by hosting a panel of Hood graduates. Panelists will describe their experiences at Hood and share with the audience how the program helped to prepare them for life's challenges.
