Biography

I have been teaching at the college level since 2002 in universities in Puerto Rico and also at Penn State. I worked as an Academic Consultant for publishing companies and Head Start.

My research interests are:

  • Play and art in early childhood
  • Coding in Early Years
  • Photo documentation in the early years
  • Educational technology
  • Gender roles in preschool
  • STEM standards in early childhood
  • Multiculturalism
  • Co-teaching/cooperative learning
