NeighborHOOD Partners

The NeighborHOOD Partners Program provides the following benefits to full-time employees of partner organizations, their spouses and their dependents:

• Tuition discount for degree-seeking students in graduate and undergraduate programs.
• Annual tuition discount of up to $33,000 for undergraduate students (eight semesters maximum).
• Up to 25% off annual tuition for both part-time and full-time graduate students.

Requirements for Educational Benefits

• Employee eligibility must be verified by the partner organization's human resources (HR) office for each semester the student is enrolled at Hood.
• The tuition discount is available to employees only after they have exceeded their employer's annual education benefits.
• For students with employer-funded educational benefits, the total discount received must not exceed the tuition charged. This award does not have a cash value.
• All students must be enrolled for both fall and spring semesters; undergraduates must be full-time.
• This discount cannot be combined with other awards and replaces any other scholarships from the College, but it may be applied in combination with need-based funding.
• The graduate discount is available for graduate certificate, master's, and doctoral programs
• Additional fees (e.g., semester comprehensive fees) are included in the NeighborHOOD Partners agreement.
• A dependent child is considered one who the employee claims an income tax exemption during the time in which NeighborHOOD benefits are awarded.
• This discount cannot be combined with other awards and replaces any other scholarships from the College, but it may be applied in combination with needs-based funding.

PLEASE NOTE: Completed NeighborHOOD forms MUST be received in PDF format no later than the current semester's registration add/drop deadline. Late applications and JPEGs will not be accepted.
