The Graduate School at Hood College presented the 2019 MBA  Director's Award to Kirsten Roy, current graduate student in Hood College's MBA program. This award is generously funded by Chrissy Wheeler and is given to an MBA student who personifies academic excellence, high aspirations, and a great work ethic.

Kirsten received her bachelor’s degree from Hood College in Accounting in 2016 when she also received the department’s book prize for the top graduating senior in the major. Kirsten is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Epsilon, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Mortar Board honor societies and will soon become a member of Delta Mu Delta.  Kirsten currently works here at Hood College in the Accounting Office as the Accounts Payable Coordinator volunteers in the Hood-FMH Resource Garden and is works closely with commuter students as their Council adviser.  Recently, Kirsten was accepted to serve in the Peace Corps as a Youth Development Facilitator in Peru beginning THIS September!
