Can you give a quick bio? Any general background that you like to share as well as your educational and career background.

I came to United States in January 2014. Soon afterwards I was admitted into Hood College’s graduate program in Information Technology. I completed 4 graduate courses until I got pregnant in 2015 when I took a break from studies so that I could take care of my son who is now 3 years old.

Why did you choose Hood College Graduate School?

I chose Hood College for my graduate studies because it is affordable and offers good courses compared to other universities.

What do you enjoy about Hood College?

It has a very unique atmosphere that attracts international students. What I like most about Hood College is its diversity. Professors here are very nice and helpful.

How are you balancing the master's program and motherhood? Do you have any tips to share?

It is indeed very difficult to be a mother and study at same time but I am still I am doing it with great support from my husband and son. One tip that I can give to other mothers who are studying is to not stress out and spend at least half an hour of quality time with your child daily.  Let them know that you are there for them and that you love them dearly.
