If you are an alumnus/a who has written a book, we want to hear from you!
Help Us Grow the Collection
Did you know that the Beneficial-Hodson Library and Learning Commons has a dedicated collection of books written and published by alumni? This collection is not exhaustive, and we want to increase our holdings, but we don’t always know which alumni have published books. You can help us do that by searching our new online catalog to find your book—no special login or ID required!
- Access the catalog using this link.
- Choose books from “All Items” underneath the search bar.
- Type the name of your book or, if you are feeling curious, your name in the search bar. If your book does not show up, please contact Mary Atwell at atwell@hood.edu with the title, author(s) and ISBN. We will purchase the book and add it to the collection!
If your book does show up, you are already represented in our collection and discoverable by other libraries around the world. We are a participating library of WorldCat, a vast catalog of books held by libraries and institutions across the country and in other parts of the world. A nice feature of WorldCat is that other libraries can request your book through inter-library loan.
