Instant Decision Days
High school seniors and transfer students can take advantage of Instant Decision Days.
Hood College offers Instant Decision Days (IDDs) throughout the year at various on and off campus events. IDDs are offered to high school seniors starting college in fall 2027 and transfer students starting in spring 2027 or fall 2027 who have not already applied to Hood and/or received their admission decision.
To sign up for an IDD, email admission@hood.edu the required materials the Friday before the visit and you will receive you admission decision after the campus tour.
Required Materials - High School Seniors:
- Unofficial or official transcripts (grades 9-11)
Required Materials - Transfer Students:
- Unofficial or official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
- If you have fewer than 24 transferrable credits, we will also require your final high school transcript
- Writing sample (this can be a paper you have already written for a class)
