Are you an employer or organization seeking an engaged and motivated intern or new hire? We invite you to visit our campus, meet our students, and find the talent you need!

Employers are invited to join us at career fairs, networking nights, lunch-hour recruitments, and on-campus interview sessions. The staff of the Career Center is looking forward to working with you to help you meet our students from more than 30 undergraduate majors and graduate-level majors!

FALL 2025

Community Nonprofit Volunteer and Internship Career Fair - Thurs., Sept. 11, 2025, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., Whitaker Campus Center. 

  • Employers from nonprofit agencies are invited to meet our soon-to-be graduating seniors who will be seeking employment, as well as students seeking internships and research opportunities. This event is open to students of all majors. Click here to register for this event.

Law and Criminal Justice Career Fair - Thurs., Oct. 2, 2025, 12:30 - 2 p.m., Whitaker Campus Center

  • Law school representatives and criminal justice agencies, join us for this fair during which you can speak to students interested in careers in the legal profession or as law enforcement professionals. Maryland/Pennsylvania Career Center Alliance Career Fair - TBA

If you are employer seeking interns or new hires throughout the Maryland and Pennsylvania region, attend this virtual event to meet with students from 10 small and liberal arts colleges. Recruit from all college majors for internships and employment, register in Handshake and select options to offer one-on-one meetings or group sessions. Free to all employers, registration opens Aug. 2025.  

Science and Technology Career Fair - Thurs., Nov. 6, 2025, Noon - 2 p.m., Whitaker Campus Center

Meet students from biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, cybersecurity, computer science, environmental science, mathematics, data analytics, public health, and more! Recruit for internship and new hires, this event is free for all employers. Click here to register in Handshake.

SPRING 2026

Communications Career Fair - Thurs., Feb. 5, 2026, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., Whitaker Campus Center. 

  • Communication companies, don't miss this chance to meet students from communications majors as well as other affiliated areas of study during this event. Hood College Annual Etiquette Dinner with Mike True - Fri., Feb. 20, 2026, 5:00 - 7:30 p.m., Dreiling Seminar Room, Coblentz. Hall

  • Are you an employer or an alum of the college who would like to be a professional guide for students who attend this event to learn about business etiquette and how to navigate a formal dinner? Blazer Alumni Career Exploration Day - Tues., Mar. 3, 2026, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., Coblentz Dining Hall. 

  • Are you a Hood College alum who also represents an industry or employer. We're calling on you to help educate our currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students to learn about the work you do, how to plan for a career in your field or to work for your company.   • Meet graduate and undergraduate students actively seeking employment and career connections as they approach graduation. Meet students from more than 30 undergraduate majors and graduate majors. Suit-Up with JCPenney - Sat., Apr. 25, 2026, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., JCPenney, Francis Scott Key Mall.

  • Join us on a special shopping day that offers exceptional discounts on men's and women's professional clothing and accessories. This national event includes discounts on apparel, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, and salon services.
