He recently wrote and released a book titled "Organization: From Chaos to Clarity: Restoring Order, Reclaiming Peace, and Realigning Purpose," which explores how principles of organization can transform personal lives, families, ministries and organizations. We spoke with Abijah about his book and how his experiences in the doctoral program help him during the publishing process.
Tell us about yourself and your professional background.
I am an organizational leadership scholar, educator, consultant, technology professional and author with more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, intelligent systems, organizational development and operational transformation. I currently serve as an adjunct professor at Hood College and am the founder of Chesed Consulting Services, LLC. My academic background includes degrees in computer science, mechanical engineering, business administration, theology and organizational leadership.
My book, "Organization: From Chaos to Clarity: Restoring Order, Reclaiming Peace, and Realigning Purpose," explores how principles of organization can transform personal lives, families, ministries and organizations. Combining practical strategies, leadership insights and faith-based principles, the book demonstrates how order creates the foundation for peace, clarity, effectiveness and purpose.
How has Hood College aided in the process of writing and releasing your book?
Hood College played a significant role in shaping both the content and discipline required to write this book. The doctoral program challenged me to think critically, conduct rigorous research, communicate ideas clearly and approach complex problems systematically. Through the guidance of exceptional faculty mentors and collaboration with fellow doctoral students, I developed a deeper appreciation for structured thinking and evidence-based decision making.
The book reflects many of the lessons learned throughout my doctoral journey, particularly the importance of alignment, intentionality, leadership and organizational effectiveness. Hood College provided an environment that encouraged both intellectual growth and personal development, which directly influenced the writing process.
Why was writing this book important to you?
Writing this book was important because I have witnessed how disorder affects individuals, families, organizations and communities. Many people struggle not because they lack talent, intelligence or opportunity, but because they lack structure, alignment and clarity.
I wanted to share practical principles that can help people move from confusion to purpose and from frustration to progress. The book is also deeply personal, reflecting lessons I have learned through my professional career, leadership experiences, academic research and faith journey.
What do you hope readers of your book take away?
My hope is that readers recognize that organization is far more than keeping things neat or managing schedules. Organization is about creating alignment between purpose, priorities and actions.
I want readers to understand that clarity often follows order. When we organize our thoughts, goals, resources, relationships and responsibilities, we create space for peace, productivity, growth and meaningful impact. Ultimately, I hope readers are inspired to take intentional steps toward living and leading with greater purpose.
Is there anything else you would like to share regarding the book or your future endeavors?
This book represents one milestone in a broader mission to help individuals and organizations thrive in an increasingly complex world. My future work will continue to focus on leadership, organizational effectiveness, workforce readiness and the responsible integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

One of the most meaningful lessons I learned during my doctoral journey is that organization is not simply about systems and processes. It is about creating the conditions for people to flourish. Whether through education, leadership, technology or writing, my goal is to help individuals and organizations move from chaos to clarity so they can achieve their highest potential.
