Grad Now at UNC Med School

Recent Biomedical Science graduate Aaron Wesley has just completed his first year at the University of North Carolina Medical School. Aaron calls his Hood experience “pivotal” to his academic growth. He credits his thesis adviser, Dr. Craig Laufer, for “high quality mentorship…that was instrumental to my development as a scientist.”

Craig says Aaron is a prime example of students who choose the Biomedical Science program as a way to burnish their credentials before applying to medical or dental school.

Although still in the early phase of his medical education, Aaron is intrigued by emergency medicine and oncology.
