A special day for every Saudi student at Hood, they celebrated, enjoyed, and shared their happiness with other Hood students and showed them Saudi traditions and culture. Faculty, staff and students had an opportunity to enjoy Saudi traditional food, cultural performances, and traditional outfits, without the travel.

The celebration featured a walk-through museum and pictures of the culture and traditions of Saudi Arabia. Including Arabic food, providing visitors with their Arabic name, henna tattoos and an Arabic-themed picture booth.

This initiative began with the vision of the Saudi Student Association president, Ibrahim Alomani. Ibrahim thanked the club’s advisor, Dr. Ahmed Salem and Dr. April Boulton, Dean of the Graduate School.  He further added, “Hood College supported us in every way possible so that we could share our culture with the entire campus community. We are most appreciative.”
