Why did you choose Hood College?

I was magnetized to the tight-knit Social Work program, and Hood being so close downtown Frederick is a bonus.

Goals after Hood College?

Become a Licensed Social Worker and get my Masters in Speech Pathology and Behavioral Therapy.

What do you like most about being in House Council?

I love planning events, it’s exciting to see students enjoy what we put together. I love planning events, it’s exciting to see students enjoy what we put together.

How has being President enhanced your leadership skills?

Being President has kept me on my toes about making stronger connections with residents and staying on schedule.

Favorite spot on campus?

The Social Work Lab in Alumnae Hall.

Favorite Place in Frederick?

Whenever I need to get away and destress, I go rock climbing at The Boulder Yard. I feel strong and ready to take on anything after a good climb.

Favorite Professor at Hood College, and why?

This was a tough decision, but Dr. Gricus. She always gets our class jazzed up for social work! She also taught me to always take at least 5 minutes out of our day to “ground” ourselves.
