Biography
I joined the Hood faculty in 2005 after receiving my Ph.D. My research interests have always focused on women's involvement in international relations. I also think it is important that students understand the complexity of the world we live in today. With an interdisciplinary focus on history, economics, political science, and foreign languages the global studies major I direct allows students who have interests in multiple academic disciplines to bring them together in a single major. I have been married to my husband Mike for 20 years and we are the proud parents of one son, Cameron, who is an avid basketball player.
