Bill Pierce

Biography

I have been involved in teaching my entire adult life. I have been a band director, music teacher, professional music performer, troubleshooting instructor, test engineer, systems engineer, data scientist and have taught in K-12, industry and higher education.

For the past 20 years, I've been teaching in the computer science department at Hood College while also working for various companies as a contractor in the field of data analysis with a focus on healthcare. However, my passion has always been teaching and I draw on my past teaching and industry experiences to provide real life perspectives in my classes.
