Biography
I have taught organic chemistry at Hood for more than 30 years and have done research in Tanzania at USAMRIID (U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases), and at NCI-Ft, Detrick. I love the Hood students, the campus, and the community.
I grew up near Albany, New York, and was a high school and college athlete. I enjoy watching students athletes compete here on campus.
I volunteer with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, and I have led alternative spring break trips to Habitat builds in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Florida.
My wife and I live within walking distance of the College (although I often prefer to ride my Segway) and we share our home with three rescue cats.
